I began my newest step in my career by taking a promotion to Bakersfield. Still living in 280 mies away is a challenge for me and my family. I found on my way to and from Bakersfield that there is farm land, orchards, some livestock, water towers everywhere, and big open sky. From having lived in San Francisco, with it's big city skyline, to driving through the countryside, I like to expanse the of the far horizons. Everything seems slower, that life is slower. I need that.
